This brown backpack, covered with green footprints, refers to the ecological footprint measurement approach. It's medium size makes it ideal for both daily use and sports activities! It features pockets (including one for your laptop) that provide plenty of room for all your essentials, and its water-resistant material provides protection from the elements. Is your footprint sustainable? Ecological footprint is a tool for determining how dependent humans are on nature, by quantifying the amount of land, ocean, and atmosphere needed to sustain a particular lifestyle. It can measure the impact of individuals, cities, countries, or the whole world, and can even be used to assess the sustainability of an area. This is done by comparing its biocapacity (natural resources available) to its ecological footprint (its nature consumption). The unit of measurement used is global hectares (gha), which measure a land's productivity compared to the global average. Is your footprint sustainable?
